Alaska PFD Payment November 2026: Who Gets Paid and Where to Find More Assistance
Alaska’s next Permanent Fund Dividend payment is scheduled for Thursday, November 19, 2026. The distribution covers 2026 and prior-year applications marked Eligible-Not Paid on November 11.
Residents should check their application status through the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend website before planning around the payment. Submitting an application does not automatically mean it has been approved for the November distribution.
November and December PFD Payment Schedule
| Payment round | Required application status | Status cutoff | Scheduled payment |
|---|---|---|---|
| November 2026 | Eligible-Not Paid | November 11, 2026 | November 19, 2026 |
| December 2026 | Eligible-Not Paid | December 9, 2026 | December 17, 2026 |
Applicants who miss the November cutoff may qualify for the December distribution if their application reaches the required status by December 9. Applications still under review are not guaranteed payment on either date.
How Much Is the 2026 Dividend?
The 2026 Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend is $1,200, including a $200 energy relief payment, according to the Permanent Fund Dividend Division.
That amount applies to the 2026 dividend. Anyone receiving payment for an earlier application year should check their individual record because prior-year amounts may differ.
The November distribution is not an extra stimulus check or a monthly benefit. Residents who have already received their 2026 dividend should not expect another payment simply because a new distribution date is approaching.
How to Check Your Application
Go to the official PFD website and select “myPFD.” Review the application year, payment status and any outstanding requests for information. Make sure your address and payment details are current.

Other Government Assistance Available to Alaska Residents
Residents who need help with groceries, heating or everyday expenses do not have to rely only on the annual dividend. Alaska operates separate assistance programs, each with its own eligibility requirements and application process.
Monthly Cash Benefits for Seniors
The Alaska Senior Benefits Program provides monthly cash assistance to qualifying Alaska residents age 65 or older with low to moderate income.
Payments are $125, $175 or $250 per month, depending on countable income. Savings and other resources do not count toward eligibility for this program. Seniors must still meet the remaining residency, citizenship or qualified immigration status, and application requirements.
Help With Winter Heating Bills
The Alaska Heating Assistance Program helps eligible low-income households cover part of their home heating costs. Assistance generally takes the form of a one-time seasonal payment credited to an approved fuel or electric-heating account.
Households must meet income requirements and have at least $200 in annual out-of-pocket heating costs. The regular non-crisis application deadline is April 30. Residents whose heat is included in their rent may also qualify, depending on their circumstances.
SNAP Food Assistance
The Alaska Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides food benefits to eligible low-income households through the Alaska Quest card.
Older adults should review the state’s guidance on deductions for households with elderly or disabled members. These households may qualify for different treatment of certain expenses, including shelter and utility deductions, when benefits are calculated.
Assistance With Basic Living Expenses
The Alaska Adult Public Assistance program provides monthly financial assistance to qualifying recipients for basic needs. Covered living expenses can include housing, food, utilities, transportation and personal necessities.
Residents should review the program’s eligibility rules before applying. This assistance is separate from the Permanent Fund Dividend and requires its own eligibility determination.
Where to Apply for Additional Benefits
The Alaska Division of Public Assistance provides access to the Alaska Connect portal, where residents can apply for or renew benefits, upload documents, update contact information and report changes.
People who need help or prefer not to apply online can call the Public Assistance Virtual Contact Center at 800-478-7778. Alaska Relay is available through 7-1-1. Approval for the PFD does not automatically establish eligibility for these other programs.
